What's New For the 2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport?
Volkswagen has made a few changes to this year's Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, which originally made its debut in 2013. They removed their base S trim level from the lineup, which now makes the SE the base model. The SE now includes an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, the Technology package is standard, and a trailer hitch receiver is standard as well. There is also a V6 engine available for upgrade. If you opt for the SEL trim level, it has some changes as well. It now includes an all-wheel drive and 20-inch wheels. There is a new SEL R-Line Black trim level that has sportier options like black interior trim and black wheels.

There are five trim levels available for the 2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport. This includes the base SE model that we've talked about, followed by the SEL, SEL R-Line, SEL R-Line Black, and SEL Premium R-Line. If you're trying to stick to a budget, the SE trim level is plenty adequate. You can choose to add an additional package to your choice, such as the Technology Package. It comes with automatic climate control, heated seats in the front row, a faux-leather interior, passive entry, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a power-controlled driver's seat. If you're looking for more power but don't want to upgrade to another trim level, you can select the V6 engine. All-wheel drive is also an add-on.
