Volkswagen of America has joined forces with KONG and VCA Charities to introduce a special-edition VW KONG For a Cause dog toy, inspired by the all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz. Available for a limited time, each toy purchased helps support local animal shelters—one toy will be donated for every one sold.

This past December, Volkswagen announced its plans to award 70 different scholarships to young refugees that are interested in furthering their education at an accredited university. These plans have been scheduled in recognition of the 70th anniversary of the UN Refugee Convention. Volkswagen cares a great deal about refugee assistance and has worked with the German United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees partner UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe.

 

Lift Orlando is a nonprofit organization that operates enrichment programs for several neighborhoods in the heart of Orland, Florida. In 2013, the group launched a widespread survey for residents near the historic Citrus Bowl Stadium. Today, this venue is known as the Camping World Stadium because of corporate sponsorship rights.
