Orlando Volkswagen Dealer Researches the New Jetta
Jetta rolls into 216 with several notable enhancements. On the powertrain front, the new Volkswagen Jetta in Orlando gets a turbocharged four-cylinder engine (S and SE trims). Moving on to the tech side of things, Jetta gets advanced accident avoidance technology, which has been added to the optional roster. Look over our 2016 Volkswagen Jetta review below to learn more.
Offered in 1.4 S, 1.4T SE, 1.8T Sport and 1.8T SEL trims, the Jetta is packed with fun features and superb safety equipment. Starting things off, the Jetta S gets 15-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, full power accessories, keyless entry, heated mirrors, cruise control, a height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, 60/40-split rear seats, cloth upholstery, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity and a four-speaker sound system with a 5-inch touchscreen interface, as well as a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack.
The S Technology package gets everything we just went over, plus a rearview camera, a 6.3-inch touchscreen, a USB port, a media player interface, satellite radio and VW Car-Net smartphone integration. Get all these features plus 16-inch alloy wheels, push-button start, heated windshield washer nozzles, heated front seats and a front center armrest with the Jetta SE in Orlando.
Make your drive even more luxurious with a sunroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, driver lumbar adjustment and more on the SE Connectivity package. Trim levels 1.8T and above get even more luxury and amenity.
In terms of safety, the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta in Orlando is well-equipped. Each model comes with traction and stability control, antilock disc brakes, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and active front head constraints (standard). On top of these benefits, all but the entry-level S without the Technology package get a rearview camera. Plus, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot monitoring system, automatic emergency braking and frontal collision warning features are available on the 1.8T and TDI SEL models with the Driver Assistance package.
Under the hood, Jetta offers plenty of options. Choose between a 1.4L four-cylinder that's good for 150 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque (1.4T) or rocket around town with the available 2-liter four that pumps out 210 horses and 207 lb.-ft. of torque in the SE and SEL trims.
