Recently, Volkswagen has started its celebration of 20 years of the popular Golf R vehicle. They are doing this by creating the 329 hp special edition. The current version for 2022 is the special anniversary version of the vehicle, and it will hit the North American market this year.

This new special version is going to have a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline-4 good 329 horsepower engine. It's going to be fast at a 0-62 miles per hour acceleration in just 4.6 seconds. All-wheel drive is standard for the vehicle, but you can choose between the s-speed manual transmission or the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. There's also the Emotion Start feature which can rev the engine all the way to 2500 rpm for a bit of theatre when you're trying to show off.
The Golf R 20 years vehicle has the R Performance package, which gives you options like the torque vectoring and the Vehicle Dynamics Manager. This includes the Special and Drift modes so that you can drive it all exactly the way that you want. There's special badging as well. This makes it so that the Golf R 20 Years is a vehicle that's rather unlike any other.
There will be no mistaking your vehicle for the stock version, in other words. It's likely that the Golf R 20 years version is going to be surprisingly affordable. Currently, it's selling in Germany, the home market for Volkswagen, but there's every indication that it will hit the North American shores shortly.
