Volvo ID.5 GTX

Volkswagen's upcoming ID.5 GTX electric SUV has been highly anticipated, and we may be getting our first look at it at the 2021 IAA in Munich. The ID.5 GTX on display will most likely be still a concept, but it will give us our first up-close glance at Volkswagen's exciting new vehicle.

  Volvo ID.5 GTX Exterior

The ID.5 GTX is a coupe-like all-electric SUV that will act like the more sleek and stylish sibling to the ID.4. Since the ID.5 GTX will most likely be hitting dealerships sometime in 2022, the one displayed at the IAA will be close to the production model. We estimate that it will feature a dual-motor setup, which will provide the vehicle with an intelligent AWD system. We also think that the ID.5 GTX will be a more premium offering when compared to the ID.4, so you can expect it to come with the upgraded 77 kWh battery pack.

The sloping roofline of the ID.5 GTX gives the vehicle a sportier silhouette to match the exhilarating powertrain. You can expect the cabin to feature a modern minimalist design reminiscent of the one found in the ID.4. Volkswagen has always made ergonomics and build quality a priority on all of their vehicles, and the ID.5 GTX will be no exception.
